About Cat Clicker

Most clickers ask you to watch a number climb. Cat Clicker gives the number a shape: every click spawns a cat bubble, so your progress fills the screen instead of sitting in a counter. Underneath it's a straightforward incremental — upgrades that raise what a click is worth, and resets that trade your accumulated total for a permanent head start.

How to play

Click to generate, buy the upgrade that raises your rate, repeat until the next one is affordable, then judge when the curve has flattened enough to reset. The mistake newcomers make is treating the reset as a loss. They keep grinding a stalled run because the total feels like something they own. In an incremental, the reset is the progress.

Tips

  • Buy the cheapest upgrade that improves output rather than saving for a headline purchase. Compounding early is worth more than one big buy later.
  • Before resetting, time how long your current total took to reach. If the fresh run gets you back there in a fraction of that, you reset at the right moment.
  • Judge every purchase on ratio, not price: an upgrade costing twice as much should roughly double something, or two cheaper ones are the better spend.

Who it's for

This is a low-attention game — it works while you're half-watching something else, and it stretches to whatever session length you give it. No reflexes required, which makes it a fair pick for younger players. It's desktop-first, and steady clicking is easier with a mouse. For something with actual timing pressure, Going Right is a sharp contrast; Parmesan Partisan if you want upgrades attached to something you have to aim.
