Checkers Legend brings traditional 8x8 draughts strategy to digital screens with crisp wooden board graphics and responsive AI opponents. Players move pieces diagonally across dark squares, jumping over rival pieces to capture them. Reach the opponent's back row to promote pieces into Kings capable of backwards movement and long-range jump captures.

How to play

Click a checker piece using mouse on PC or tap on mobile screens to view valid diagonal move highlights, then click target destination square. Forced jump rules apply when captures are available. Beginners often leave single back-row pieces unprotected, allowing opponents to easily promote their pieces into Kings.

Tips

• **Protect Your Back Row:** Keep your rear baseline pieces stationary as long as possible to deny your opponent King promotions.
• **Control Center Board:** Occupy central dark squares to restrict opponent diagonal movement options across the board.
• **Set Up Multi-Jump Traps:** Sacrifice a single piece to lure opponent pieces into line for a triple-jump counterattack.
