About Hoop World

No defenders, no clock, no possession — Hoop World keeps one piece of basketball and discards the rest. You launch a player skyward with mouse clicks, and everything that matters happens between takeoff and the rim: the flip, the rotation, the angle you meet the hoop at. The control scheme is about as thin as a 3D game gets, deliberately so, because the difficulty lives entirely in when you click.

How to play

Click to send your player up into a flipping dunk, and time it so the ball drops through the hoop instead of past it. Beginners click early. The instinct is to trigger the dunk the moment the rim looks close, but the animation needs time to play out, and a fraction too soon leaves you finishing short. A few failed attempts will show you the delay to allow for.

Tips

  • Time your click against where you will be shortly, not where you are; the arc does most of the work.
  • After a miss, decide whether you were long or short before retrying, because repeating the same error is what stalls people here.
  • Save the flashier attempts until the plain ones land consistently, as extra rotation shifts the timing window.

Who it's for

Each attempt lasts seconds, which makes this good filler between other things, though real consistency takes longer than the first five minutes suggest. Desktop-first: the precision is built around a mouse and doesn't survive being tapped out on a phone. If one repeated skill isn't enough, Parmesan Partisan gives you waves of rats to hold off, and Gelatino is the one to open when you're away from a desk.
