About Liar's Bar
Liar's Bar is a high-stakes psychological bluffing game set inside a dim tavern where anthropomorphic characters engage in dangerous card games and Russian roulette duels. Players play cards face-down, claiming their rank while trying to catch opponents lying or successfully tricking others with bold bluffs. Calling out a false claim forces the loser to take nerve-wracking revolver survival tests.
How to play
On desktop, use the mouse to select cards from your hand, click to place them on the table, and hit the Call Liar button if you suspect a bluff. On touchscreens, tap cards and action buttons directly. Novice players often bluff on their very first turn, making their strategy predictable and easy for experienced players to call out.
Tips
- Play truthful card claims early in rounds to establish a trustworthy table image before pulling off a crucial bluff.
- Track card counts carefully; if you hold three Kings, an opponent claiming to play three Kings is guaranteed to be lying.
- Use subtle hesitation before making truthful plays to lure opponents into calling you out incorrectly.
Who it's for
Ideal for fans of card strategy, tabletop mind games, and suspenseful bluffing mechanics looking for intense psychological duels on desktop or mobile. If it clicks with you, try Stacklands or Checkers Casual next.
