Traffic.io is a pulse-pounding intersection control game where players manage city traffic flow to prevent multi-car pileups. Overseeing busy four-way intersections without traffic lights, you tap incoming cars, buses, and semi-trucks to stop them or speed them across crossroad lanes. As vehicle volume surges, maintaining calm reflexes and prioritizing high-speed traffic lanes prevents catastrophic crashes.

How to play

Click on any approaching vehicle with the mouse to toggle between stopping and resuming movement. On mobile devices, tap directly on vehicles to manage their movement. Beginners often freeze entire intersection lanes, creating massive traffic backups that bleed off-screen and cause game over failures.
